About
Built upon anecdotes of trauma, struggles with mental health, and frustrations with society at large, the music of Tyler Henderson strives to represent clarity within times of darkness— and beauty within dissonance.
Henderson’s eclectic style draws from his diverse musical background in rock and jazz, and his interest in the more brutalist sounds of modern classical music. This has created an angular and almost chaotic sound characterized by harsh noise and jagged chord strikes
Tyler Henderson is currently working towards his B.M. in Music Composition at Miami University, and has been under the tutelage of Martin Hebel, Susanna Hancock, Owen Hopper, and Per Bloland.
